Travis Kelce opens up about his wedding to Taylor Swift and recalls the star-studded celebration at Madison Square Garden

Travis Kelce has opened up about his star-studded wedding to Taylor Swift, calling it “the best night of my life” and describing the celebration as “a crazy night”. Speaking to reporters during Kansas City Chiefs training camp in Missouri on Wednesday, the NFL star reflected on the couple’s private nuptials while also thanking those who attended.

“It was a fun off-season, man,” Kelce said. “Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us.”

Kelce and Swift, both 36, married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City in front of around 1,000 guests. The star-studded gathering reportedly included Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez and Tom Brady, along with several of Kelce’s Chiefs teammates. Comedian Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony.

The couple transformed the famed sports venue, home of the New York Knicks, into a lavish garden setting for the occasion.

“It’s kind of cool to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, and the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married there,” Kelce said.

He also thanked the owners of Madison Square Garden for allowing them to hold a private event at the iconic venue.

“We can thank the owners of MSG for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing we wanted a private event  and everything. It was perfect,” he added. Reflecting on the venue’s air conditioning during New York City’s heat wave, Kelce joked, “The AC was cookin’ baby. That was the best part.”
