The BJP Telangana State Office held a key preparatory meeting on Sunday to strategize for the upcoming local body elections, including ZPTC, MPTC, and Sarpanch polls.

The meeting, chaired by State President N Ramchander Rao, was attended by Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, BJP National Vice President D K Aruna, legislature leaders Yeleti Maheshwar Reddy and A V N Reddy, among other senior leaders, MPs, MLAs, and office bearers.

The discussions focused on strengthening the party in rural areas, highlighting the failures of the previous BRS and current Congress governments, and mobilizing public opinion on issues like the neglect of Gram Panchayats and delay in conducting local elections.

Leaders resolved to expose the Congress government's inaction over the last 22 months, particularly on BC reservations and rural governance. Public meetings and campaigns will be held to inform citizens of these failures.

To boost election readiness, former MPs, MLAs, MLCs, district presidents, and state leaders will be appointed as ZPTC and district in-charges. District in-charges will oversee committee formation and campaign activities.

Special strategies were also discussed to secure a BJP majority in ZPTC seats and prepare for the next Assembly elections, aiming to bring the party to power in Telangana. A broader strategy meeting is scheduled for October 8 with senior leaders.

Additionally, a focused plan was outlined for the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election, including forming a dedicated committee for candidate selection and public engagement in the Hyderabad-Secunderabad Parliament constituency.

The meeting aimed to energize the party cadre and finalize the groundwork for a strong showing in the upcoming elections.
