Cabinet meeting at Yadadri on May 21

The Telangana government has rescheduled the State Cabinet meeting from May 21 to May 23, in view of the commencement of the historic Basara Saraswati Antya Pushkaralu. The Cabinet meeting will now be held at Yadagirigutta, popularly known as Yadadri, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. Initially the government planned to hold the Cabinet meet in Secretariat on May 21.

As part of the visit, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate a Vedic school at Yadadri, underlining the government’s focus on promoting spiritual and cultural heritage alongside governance.

The decision to hold the Cabinet meeting at the renowned temple town is being seen as a continuation of the government’s initiative to take administration closer to the people and culturally significant locations. 

The upcoming Cabinet meeting at Yadadri is expected to deliberate regulation of fees in private schools and allocation of land to journalists are among the agenda.
