To meet again on June 5 for key policy decisions

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Mallu Vikaramarka Bhatti, and ministers held an informal meeting on the eve of Telangana Formation Day. The 90-minutes long meeting covered several subjects and were based on the comprehensive reports prepared and submitted by the Ministers based on their tours of the districts and meeting people. It concluded that a Cabinet Meeting would be held on June 5 for formal discussions and taking decisions.

Amongst the subjects discussed based on people's feedback, were Bhu Bharati, Indiramma Illu, ground preparations for the rainy season, procurement of paddy, setting a roadmap for Govt Employees demands, and Rajiv Yuva Vikasam.

Given the extraordinary response to the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam, all ministers emphasised on the need for additional and very vigilant scrutiny of all applications to ensure only the most genuinely eligible applicants are selected.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy instructed that all efforts must be taken to ensure only the most genuinely eligible applicants are selected and a detailed and flawless process be implemented in shortlisting and final selection of beneficiaries in the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme.

The meeting elaborate covered the rural scenario and the situation of farmers, and the arrangements needed to be made for the procurement of paddy.

All issues relating to the impact of the upcoming rainy season on people, from farmers and agriculture, from irrigation projects to drinking water situation, from city traffic to health were discussed in detail. A comprehensive roadmap to ensure all necessary steps were taken was proposed.

When Deputy CM Bhatti Vikaramarka briefed about his meeting with representatives and leaders of government employees with their various demands, it was felt that the government must prepare a roadmap on all the demands. The meeting requested the Deputy CM to conduct the next meeting with the govt employee leaders soon to resolve them.

The meeting also instructed all 33 district units to celebrate the Telangana Formation Day in a grand way. Officials have been given detailed briefing on the grand celebrations of June 2 across the state in their respective districts.

Wishing all people of Telangana a happy formation day on the eve of June 2, the Chief Minister and his team expressed a resolve to strive hard to achieve Telangana Rising 2047 and make it a people's movement.
