Cantonment MLA reviews TIMS Alwal progress

Cantonment MLA Sri Ganesh inspected the ongoing construction works of the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) hospital in Alwal on Tuesday. During the visit, he sought detailed information on the completed works, the current phase of construction and the remaining tasks. MLA Sri Ganesh said that with the growing population, the government is committed to expanding public healthcare infrastructure by establishing more government hospitals.

He stated that adequate funds have been allocated to ensure the project is completed at the earliest. The MLA said the government is focusing on developing TIMS hospitals across the city so that people, especially those from economically weaker sections, need not depend solely on Gandhi Hospital and Osmania Hospital for advanced medical treatment. The MLA instructed officials not to compromise on the quality of construction under any circumstances. At the same time, he directed them to expedite the remaining works while strictly adhering to prescribed engineering and quality standards.
