CARE Hospitals celebrates International Nurses Day

CARE Hospitals celebrated International Nurses Day across its network hospitals, highlighting the growing role of nurses in clinical leadership, patient safety and healthcare excellence.

The celebrations were virtually inaugurated from the Hyderabad corporate office with participation from hospital heads, clinicians, nursing teams and leadership representatives from all CARE Hospitals units. Recognition programmes, awareness sessions, wellness initiatives and professional development activities were organised across hospitals as part of the event.

CARE Hospitals CEO Dr Pawan Kumar said nurses are now central to patient safety, care continuity and clinical excellence, adding that they also help build trust and compassion within healthcare institutions.

Chief of Medical Services Dr Nikhil Mathur stated that nurses today contribute beyond bedside care by playing key roles in clinical coordination, multidisciplinary care management and quality leadership.

Vice President – Nursing Administration Dr Vincy Tribhuvan said nursing continues to shape patient experience and compassionate care in hospitals. She added that CARE Hospitals remains committed to building future-ready nursing leaders through training, leadership programmes and continuous professional development initiatives.
