Director of the upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual film “Carmeni Selvam” Ram Chakri on Wednesday shared his thoughts. He complimented the Telugu film industry embraces different storytelling styles. He mentioned that he considered Shekhar Kammula as his “teacher and mentor”. Regarding “Carmeni Selvam”, he described that the movie would be realistic and based on middle-class life.
Carmeni Selvam” is a bilingual film being made under the Pathway Productions banner, produced by Arun Rangarajulu. The film features Samuthirakani in the lead role, with Gautham Vasudev Menon playing a key role. Director Ram Chakri further complimented that as a middle-class husband and father, Samuthirakani has delivered a deeply emotional performance. The Director of Photography is Yuvaraj Dakshan, Music Director is Ramanujan and editor is Jagan. The film is set for a theatrical release on April 3 in both Telugu and Tamil.
