The four-day CBSE Cluster VII Basketball Sports Meet 2025 for girls (U/14, U/17 & U/19) kicked off with a grand opening ceremony on Saturday at Indus Universal School in Yapral in Secunderabad.

Chief Guest I Prabhakar Reddy, Chairman of Indus Universal School, declared the tournament open. The event was also graced by school Directors Linga Reddy and Vijay Kumar, Principal K V Neelima, and special guest Prem Kumar Yadav, Chairman, Technical Commission, Telangana Basketball Association.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by flag hoisting and a March Past by all participating teams. A classical dance performance by Indus students welcomed the guests.

In her address, Principal Neelima highlighted the school’s sports achievements. Reddy emphasized the importance of sports in holistic education and praised the school's excellent infrastructure.
