Central Bank of India, Hyderabad Region, organized an MSME Outreach Campaign at the MSME Development & Facilitation Centre, Balanagar, under the aegis of Dr. Himanshu Gupta, General Manager (MSME), Central Office; M. Pichayya, Zonal Head, Hyderabad Zone and C.S.S. Rao, Joint Director, MSME Development & Facilitation Centre, Balanagar. Dr. Himanshu Gupta emphasized the Bank's commitment to strengthening MSME financing by focusing on New-to-Bank (NTB) and New-to-Credit (NTC) customers.
He encouraged Branch Heads to proactively acquire new customers and assured them of his full support in resolving MSME-related issues for faster credit delivery. The program featured one-to-one interactions with entrepreneurs, a detailed presentation on the Bank's MSME products and schemes, and distribution of cheques, sanction letters and in-principle sanction letters. The campaign achieved MSME loan sanctions of Rs 40 crore, in-principle sanctions of Rs 60 crore and fresh MSME leads worth Rs 50 crore, taking the total business generated to Rs 150 crore. Loans amounting to Rs 25 crore were disbursed on the day of the program.
