In connection with the Police Commemoration Week, the Hyderabad City Police, Central Zone, in association with HCL and Hyderabad Cyclists, successfully organized a 'Cyclothon' on Sunday.
This Cyclothon proceeded from People's Plaza to Seven Tombs in Tolichowki. 380 cyclists and 100 police officers and staff enthusiastically participated in it. The event was organized as per the directions of DG B Shivadhar Reddy and Hyderabad City Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar.
K Shilpavalli, DCP Central Zone, attended the event as the Chief Guest. She was joined by Yadagiri, ACP Gandhinagar, Venkat Reddy, SHO Khairatabad, and representatives from HCL.
Speaking on the occasion, DCP K Shilpavalli thanked the HCL management and Hyderabad cyclists for organizing this Cyclothon in collaboration with the police department in memory of the police martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.
She also requested everyone to participate in large numbers and make the ‘Mega Blood Donation Camp,’ being organized in all zones of Hyderabad City on Monday (October 27), a success.
The DCP requested that any suspicious activity be immediately reported to Dial 100 or the local police station. ‘We can build a safe and crime-free society only with public cooperation,’ stated DCP K Shilpavalli.
