The Lila Poonawalla Foundation (LPF), dedicated to empowering girls through education, celebrated its Hyderabad Scholarship Award Function 2025 at G Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science on Sunday.

The event was honored by Hussain Syed, Head of Service Delivery & Operations at Concentrix Hyderabad & Vizag, as Chief Guest.

This follows LPF’s recent 30th Postgraduate Scholarship Award Function in Pune, graced by Dr. Kiran Bedi, India’s first woman IPS officer and former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.

The Hyderabad function recognized meritorious girls from financially challenged backgrounds pursuing undergraduate courses, Bachelor of Engineering, and Engineering after Diploma programs across Hyderabad. Scholarships were awarded, emphasizing LPF’s broader mission of mentorship, personal growth, and leadership development.

Padma Shri Lila Poonawalla, LPF Chairperson, stressed that the Foundation aims to nurture confident, capable women change makers. Hussain Syed expressed pride in partnering with LPF, highlighting Concentrix’s ongoing support for engineering education in Pune and Hyderabad.
