Actress Nidhhi Agerwal, TV host Sreemukhi and influencer Amrutha Chowdhary appeared before the Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Friday for questioning related to the promotion of online betting and gambling apps.

According to officials, the three were questioned for more than an hour about their alleged endorsements of betting platforms. Investigators asked about the payments they received, the number of companies they promoted and the individuals or agencies that coordinated the endorsements.

The case, which involves multiple film personalities accused of promoting illegal betting apps, was recently transferred to the CID. Earlier, actors Vijay Deverakonda and Prakash Raj were also questioned. Officials stated that further action will depend on the statements gathered and evidence reviewed so far.
