The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Himayathnagar , Jubileehills temple management, is making elaborate arrangements for the convenience of devotees visiting the temple on Tuesday on the auspicious occasion Vaikunta Ekadasi.
The temple management is facilitating Sarva darshan for the devotees from 1 am early on Tuesday. The darshan would continue till 10 pm with short breaks in the day for performing the daily rituals and sevas for Lord Venkateswara, said TTD Himayathnagar Local Advisory Committee (LAC) president N Shankar Goud at a press conference on Sunday at TTD Kalyana Mandapam in Himayathnagar.
To avoid inconvenience to the devotees, VIPs and other guests would be provided darshan from 1 am to 6 am on Tuesday. This would ensure that Sarva Darshan devotees visiting the temple during the day were not subjected to any inconvenience, he said."Even as the lord's darshan commences at 1 am on Tuesday early morning, all the sevas, including Ekantham, Thomala seva and sudhi and ekantham at 10 pm in the night, will be conducted as per the schedule," Shankar Goud said.
The temple management said last year nearly 25,000 devotees had visited the temple for darshan on Vaikunta Ekadasi. Considering the rush, all arrangements were being made to ensure hassle-free darshan for devotees. Sufficient drinking water facilities and annaprasadam arrangements have been strengthened to handle the expected heavy turnout were being made arranged, said TTD AEO Ramesh said.
He appealed to the devotees to park their vehicles at traffic police identified locations and cooperate with the temple management.
The meeting was attended by the temple’s Chief Archaka and Ramesh, AEO, Hyderabad. TTD officials appealed to devotees to cooperate with authorities and follow traffic and security guidelines for a peaceful Vaikuntha Ekadashi darshan.
