The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted the Civil Services Preliminary Examination across 25 centers in NTR District on Sunday. According to District Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha, the examination proceeded smoothly without any incidents.
Of the 10,381 registered candidates, 5,716 (55.1%) appeared for Paper-1 in the morning session, while 5,665 (54.6%) attended Paper-2 in the afternoon. The examination process was monitored from a dedicated control room at the Collectorate.

To oversee the arrangements, Dr. Lakshmisha visited the PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College examination center in Vijayawada. He reviewed the conditions to ensure a suitable environment for candidates appearing for the civil services examination.
