Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan request paps not to click photos of Taimur and Jeh following stabbing incident at Bandra residence

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times at his Bandra home in Mumbai on the early hours of January 16, 2025. He was later rushed to Lilavati Hospital where he underwent surgery. During the procedure, a three-inch piece of the knife, which had become lodged in Saif’s back, was successfully removed.

Saif and his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, have now urged the paparazzi to avoid clicking photos of their sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan, wherever they are spotted following the incident.

Further, Saif and Kareena also requested paps not to stand outside their Bandra residence as they usually do, photographing them while leaving or returning to their home. It was also conveyed that whenever Saif and Kareena are spotted at public events, the paparazzi are allowed to click their photos.

Days after the incident, Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, a Bangladeshi national, was arrested from near Hiranandani Estate in Kasarvadavali in Thane, about 35 kilometres from Khan’s house on January 19.

The actor was discharged on January 21 and was accompanied by tight security. Clad in a white shirt and blue jeans, the 54-year-old actor was seen waving and greeting the media and fans with folded hands.

After Saif’s attack, Kareena issued a statement and requested space. Her statement read, “It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage.”
