Veer Pahariya, who recently debuted in Sky Force, talks about how talent is more important than legacy, citing Ranbir Kapoor as an example
Veer Pahariya made his debut with Sky Force which was released last week. The actor has received positive reviews for his performance, but he is also getting trolled as people feel that it was very easy for him to come into movies. For the unintiated, Veer comes from a political family. He is the grandson of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde.
Veer has been speaking about his role and a lot more in multiple interviews, and recently, while talking to Lallantop Cinema, the actor opened up about how talent is important than legacy. When he was asked who inspires him the most, Veer said, “When you hear an underdog story, just like me character in the film. I want that mine is also an underdog story because I don’t look like a typical hero.”
When probed him what he means by typical hero, the Sky Force actor said, “So, there’s a silhouette for a hero like he should have this kind of body, and face. I have always concentrated on my work and my talent. I respect those from whom people didn’t have much expectations, but they proved them wrong. It has happened with me as well. A lot of wrong things have been written about it. People will say, he has this and that, but I know my struggle.”
“Whether you have support or not, at the end people will only see what’s there on the screen. People won’t see what’s your legacy. Today, our country’s biggest superstar is Ranbir Kapoor. Nobody questions him. So, I feel at the end only talent will speak, and if I get the opportunity than I will surely prove myself,” he added.
