Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has assured that the workers of the Rajahmundry Paper Mill will not face any injustice and that appropriate measures will be taken to address their concerns. Minister Kandula Durgesh and the delegation briefed the CM on the delays in wage agreements under the previous YSRCP regime.
The delegation highlighted the December 24 meeting with the District Collector, where the management reportedly stated that increasing wages beyond Rs. 3,500 was not feasible. They also reminded the CM that under the previous agreement, workers’ salaries were raised by Rs. 9,000.
The assurance came during a meeting with State Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Cinematography Kandula Durgesh, along with MP Daggubati Purandeswari and other MLAs.
