N Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh expressed disappointment for failing to submit the six-month self-appraisal report. He said,   “Only three ministers Nimmala Ramanaidu, Gummadi Sandhya Rani, and Kondapalli Srinivas have submitted self-appraisals on their six-month performance.”

He urged ministers to step out of their offices and increase their on-ground visits to better connect with the public. Chandrababu also stressed the importance of utilizing social media effectively to communicate government initiatives and address public concerns.

Reiterating his commitment to ethical governance, the Chief Minister advised his colleagues to avoid vindictive politics and focus on delivering value-based leadership. He emphasized that ministers must prioritize transparency, public outreach, and grassroots-level engagement to strengthen trust in the coalition government.

He emphasized the need for cautious communication, particularly on sensitive topics, following recent political developments in Delhi. He cautioned that even well-intentioned statements could be misinterpreted and used for malicious propaganda.

Recalling a previous controversy, Chandrababu mentioned how his remarks were misconstrued in the past. “Even though I never said agriculture is a burden, it was widely publicized as if I did,” he said, urging ministers to remain vigilant in their public statements.

In a separate discussion, the Chief Minister underlined his commitment to ensuring accountability within the government. He revealed that an IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) is being used to gather public feedback on the performance of ministers and MLAs.
