Chief Minister’s Praja Vani grievance redressal platform has completed two years, marking a significant milestone with 47,935 petitions successfully resolved out of 1,12,245 applications received so far. With an overall success rate of 74 per cent, the initiative has emerged as a key bridge between the government and the public.

The programme, overseen by Dr. G. Chinna Reddy, Vice Chairman of the State Planning Board, and State Nodal Officer Divya Devarajan, receives an average of nearly 1,000 applications every week. Citizens approach the platform with issues ranging from land records and pensions to employment, healthcare and housing. Many long-pending grievances have been addressed through direct intervention and online recommendations to the concerned departments, ensuring quicker disposal.

To make the process citizen-friendly, several facilities have been arranged at the venue. These include a help desk to assist applicants in filing petitions, medical camps for basic health services, battery-operated buggies and wheelchairs for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, ambulance services for emergencies, safe drinking water and subsidised meals priced at Rs 5 provided by the Hare Krishna Foundation.

The initiative has also extended support to Gulf workers and expatriates under the CM Pravasi Praja Vani programme. Officials said efforts are underway to further improve the disposal rate and strengthen the grievance redressal mechanism in the coming months.
