Mancherial District Collector Kumar Deepak on Wednesday directed officials to conduct the house enumeration (Indla Ganana) program, starting from May 11 in the district, with utmost care and precision. Speaking at a training program organized for enumerators and supervisors at the Government High School in Chennur, the Collector, accompanied by Mandal Tahsildar Mallikarjun, emphasized the importance of following the guidelines for the enumeration process.

The Collector noted that many of the appointed officials had prior experience in election-related duties and instructed them to ensure that the enumeration is conducted without any errors or lapses, drawing on their experience. Highlighting the significance of the exercise, Kumar Deepak stated that future welfare schemes of both the Central and State governments, as well as the conduct of elections and population census activities, would largely depend on the accuracy of this house enumeration data.

Later, the District Collector inspected various development works in Chennur Mandal. At the Degree College in Kishtampet, he reviewed the construction of additional classrooms and directed officials to expedite the work and complete it at the earliest. He also visited the Skill Development Centre under construction and gave several instructions to the officials concerned.
