Medchal Malkajgiri District Collector P Goutham on Thursday directed the officials to complete the process of regularisation of plots (LRS) of unauthorised layouts within Nizampet Municipal Corporation limits at the earliest.

On Thursday, he enquired with the ward officers in Corporation limits on the LRS process and instructed the officials to provide regularization copies as soon as possible as per government regulations to the applicants who have paid the fees. Details such as application number, name, mobile number, etc. are to be given through the mobile app, etc.

The collector also directed the municipal staff in the district to inform the applicants that the government will provide 25 per cent subsidy if the regularization fee is paid by the 31st of this month and the municipal staff in the district should take appropriate steps in this direction and resolve the pending applications immediately.

In this regard, it has been suggested that the progress on regularization of applications be monitored on a daily basis and the reasons for the pending applications should be given. Officials have also been advised to take into account complaints received at the LRS helpdesk and take appropriate action in a timely manner. Municipal Commissioner Shabbir Ali, Bachupalli MRO Phool Singh, municipal staff and others participated in the meeting.
