130 complaints received at GHMC Prajavani

A total of 130 grievances were received during the Prajavani program held across the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Monday. At the GHMC headquarters, 44 grievances were received, including 22 for the Town Planning department, four each for the Tax and FA departments, three for Engineering (Maintenance), and two each for Sanitation, Veterinary, Estates, and Housing departments. One grievance each was received for the Land Acquisition, Admin, and UBD departments.

Across the six GHMC zones, a total of 86 grievances were received, with 45 from Kukatpally zone, 10 from Secunderabad zone, 20 from Serilingampally zone, six from Charminar zone, four from LB Nagar zone, and one from Khairatabad zone. During the Prajavani phone-in program, four grievances were received and promptly forwarded to the respective departments for immediate resolution.

GHMC Commissioner Ilambarithi has directed officials to ensure there are no delays in resolving issues raised during the Prajavani program. The Commissioner emphasized the importance of promptly addressing the grievances submitted by citizens from various parts of the city.

He instructed officials to work diligently to resolve the problems faced by city residents and to provide written responses to applicants, specifying the timeframe for resolving their personal and social issues. Citizens submitted their grievances to the Commissioner, along with senior officials from the Town Planning and Additional Commissioner departments.
