CRPF vehicle cynosure of all eyes at GITAM expo

GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, ignited enthusiasm on the second day of Pramana-2025 with the Auto Expo – Automania. The event attracted automobile enthusiasts and students eager to witness innovations in the automotive industry.

A highlight of the expo was the TATA Kestrel, a state-of-the-art armored vehicle showcased by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). Designed for high-security operations, the 25-ton vehicle can carry 12 jawans and reach speeds of up to 100 km/h. The CRPF also conducted a dynamic mock drill featuring the Vajra and Mini Vajra vehicles.

Pramana-2025 featured a diverse lineup of technical and cultural events. Students participated in hackathons, project expos, AR/VR workshops, and GITAM Talks, while cultural activities included influencer talks, short film contests, DJ contests, and the Battle of Bands and Mr & Miss Pramana competitions.

Engaging workshops on cinematic makeup, spray paint art, slime making, and emergency impact training added to the festival experience. Standout moments included high-energy performances by 9teen and Varnam Bands and a dazzling ramp walk event. The festival also encouraged students to showcase their talents and overcome stage fear.

As Pramana-2025 gears up for its grand finale, excitement builds for the EDM/DJ Night featuring Julia Bliss and PRO Bros. The festival promises to conclude on a high note, uniting students in a night of pulsating beats and unforgettable memories.
