The Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, in collaboration with the Telangana State Fire Department, conducted a fire mock drill on Thursday to bolster emergency preparedness and inter-departmental coordination.

Led by Madhapur Station Fire Officer Anjaneyulu Dodla, the drill included live demonstrations of fire safety tools, types of fire emergencies, and appropriate response methods. He emphasized staying calm during crises, safe evacuation practices, and the importance of personal safety awareness.

The exercise began with a fire alarm, triggering a swift evacuation of the Cyberabad CP Office. Trained Fire Marshals guided staff to a designated assembly point near the national flag post. Personnel from multiple departments including Traffic Police, Cybercrime, SHE Teams, Special Branch, Economic Offences Wing, Bomb Disposal Squad, and CAR Headquarters actively participated.

Cyberabad Commissioner of Police Avinash Mohanty highlighted the importance of timely precautions and emergency readiness. Standard Operating Procedures were followed, including activation of fire alarm systems, lift circuit breakers, and the Public Address System, followed by simulated rescue operations.

The Telangana Fire Services Department deployed fire tenders, medical teams, safety personnel, and a Bronto Skylift vehicle to simulate high-rise rescues, underscoring their critical support in the drill. The initiative aimed to ensure public safety through efficient, coordinated response strategies during emergencies.
