DCC President aims for winning mayor seat

DCC President Sanjeev Mudiraj called upon every party worker to work dedicatedly to ensure the Congress Party’s victory in winning the Mayor’s post in the Corporation. He was speaking at a meeting held on Sunday at the Congress office in the district headquarters, chaired by MUDA Chairman and Town President Laxman Yadav.

Addressing the gathering, the DCC President said that tickets for the Corporation elections would be allotted based on survey reports. He assured that those who have carried and upheld the party flag would be given due importance. While many aspirants would apply for tickets, those who do not receive tickets should not be disheartened but should work collectively for the victory of the party candidate, he appealed.

He stressed the need to secure the maximum number of corporator seats and urged party workers to go door to door to collect details of beneficiaries of government schemes. He also instructed them to explain the welfare schemes being implemented by the government to the people.
