DCP Bhaskar inspects Repallewada Check Post

Mancherial DCP Egadi Bhaskar conducted a surprise midnight inspection at the inter-district check post set up on Tuesday at Repallewada in Tandur mandal to review measures aimed at preventing illegal cattle transportation ahead of Bakrid.

The DCP said special check posts had been established to curb unlawful cattle movement and instructed police personnel to thoroughly inspect every vehicle passing through the check post. He directed officials to verify transport documents carefully and maintain complete records of all checked vehicles in the register.

Bhaskar also advised staff to remain alert during duty hours, especially at night, and strictly follow security protocols. He warned that strict action would be taken against those involved in illegal cattle transportation and said police surveillance had been intensified across the district.

He appealed to the public not to take the law into their own hands and to report suspicious transport activities to local police or Dial 100 immediately.
