TGNPDCL CMD Varun Reddy inspects power works in Mulugu

Telangana Northern Power Distribution Company Limited (NPDCL) CMD , IAS, on Tuesday inspected various power development works being carried out in Mulugu district. He reviewed the progress of infrastructure projects aimed at improving electricity supply and service quality in rural areas.

The CMD inspected the newly constructed departmental SPM shed in Mulugu and directed officials to complete the works by the end of June. He later visited a private SPM shed and reviewed transformer failure records, maintenance procedures and overall functioning. He instructed officials to speed up transformer repair works and increase rolling stock to ensure repaired transformers are supplied quickly to consumers.

Varun Reddy also inspected the ongoing 33 KV new line works. Officials informed him that the line is being laid for nearly 27 kilometres through forest areas from Karlapalli substation to the newly proposed Lingala substation. He further reviewed the construction works of the new section office under Pasra section limits and directed officials to complete the project within this month.

Speaking on the occasion, the CMD said the new 33/11 KV Lingala substation would significantly improve power supply to Gundala, Kodishela, Lingala and nearby villages. He stated that the project would help reduce power interruptions and low-voltage issues in rural areas. He stressed the need to complete all development works on time to provide better services to consumers.
