D.E. Shaw’s expansion shows ‘confidence’ in Hyderabad

Shaw India Private Limited (part of D. E. Shaw group) for completing celebrated 30 years of operations in India and described the firm’s announcement to start new office at Grava Business Park in Neopolis as a sign of its continued confidence in Hyderabad. D. E. Shaw India opened its first office in Hyderabad in 1996, adding Bengaluru and Gurugram in 2023.

Eddie Fishman, Managing Director and Executive Committee member said that the rigor and skills which the D. E. Shaw India employees bring to the firm hs helped it to remain at the forefront.E xpected to open in 2027, the new state-of-the-art workspace will occupy more than 600,000 square feet and will support D. E. Shaw India’s vibrant.“Hyderabad is where D. E. Shaw India began, and 30 years on, it remains central to our story,” said Chaitanya Gorrepati, Managing Director and D. E. Shaw India Operating Committee member.
