District Collector visits EVM godown in Rajendranagar

District Collector C. Narayana Reddy, IAS, visited the EVM (Electronic Voting Machines) godown located in Rajendranagar, Rangareddy district on Friday. As part of the general inspection program, the Collector inspected the EVM godown at the field level and inspected the seals installed in the godown. He also inspected the manner in which the ballot units, control units, VVPAT machines and other election equipment were stored and made necessary suggestions to the concerned officials.

Later, he inspected the police security and security arrangements installed at the EVM godown and instructed the officials to take all necessary steps to ensure that there is no negligence in the security of election equipment. The District Collector inspected the ongoing SIR process in the Tahsildar's office. Rajendranagar Tahsildar, Warehouse In-charge Ramulu, Election Department Officer Ravindra Gupta, Police Officers and officials of concerned departments participated in the program.
