Domestic dispute turns fatal, woman killed

A domestic quarrel ended in tragedy after a man allegedly killed his wife in Shamshabad on Sunday. The couple, identified as Badar Batra and Santasi Batra (25), were migrant workers from Odisha who had moved to Ramanzapur for livelihood and were employed at a brick kiln, residing nearby.   

Police said the pair had been arguing frequently over family issues for the past week, with co-workers and the kiln owner intervening earlier to pacify them. On Sunday, another dispute reportedly broke out, after which the husband allegedly attacked his wife while she was asleep, leading to her death. Co-workers alerted police, who reached the spot, detained the accused, and began an investigation.
