Dr. Usha Yanamandra honored for contribution to cyber safety awareness

Dr. Usha Yanamandra, Social Intelligence Expert and Career Strategist, was honored on Thursday by the Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) in collaboration with the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate for her contribution towards cyber safety awareness and digital education initiatives. The recognition was presented by Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh during the “DiLSeY Train-the-Trainer” program organized by SCSC and Cyberabad Police.

During the program, experts addressed participants on digital footprints, responsible online behavior, fake news, online gaming risks, cyber laws, social engineering scams, UPI frauds and loan app scams. Officials also highlighted the importance of reporting cyber frauds through the 1930 helpline and stressed the significance of the “Golden Hour” in cybercrime response. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Usha Yanamandra said that being certified as a "Cyber Safety Ambassador" reinforces her commitment to building safer and more aware communities in today’s digital world.
