Duaa Ahamed Sherief from Hyderabad has earned a 100% Global Citizen Scholarship (GCS) to study at the Global Indian International School (GIIS) SMART Campus in Singapore. She is one of only 10 students selected across India this year, recognized for her academic excellence, leadership potential, and commitment to social change.

The scholarship, worth Rs 1 crore per student, covers full tuition, boarding, and living expenses for Grades 11 and 12. GIIS offers world-class infrastructure and the choice of CBSE or IBDP curriculum, empowering students to thrive in a global academic environment.

GIIS hosted a felicitation ceremony in Delhi to honour the scholars. ‘The GCS goes beyond financial support - it empowers dreams,’ said Pramod Tripathi, Director, Academic, Global Schools Group. Duaa was chosen through a rigorous selection process that assessed her academics, problem-solving skills, and social responsibility. ‘This scholarship is a defining moment. It inspires me to lead with purpose and give back with intent,’ she shared.
