The Governor of Telangana, Jishnu Dev Varma, conferred the FTCCI Excellence Awards 2025 at a grand ceremony held at Taj Deccan, Banjara Hills. Organised by the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) — one of India’s oldest and most dynamic regional chambers — the awards celebrated exceptional achievements across 19 categories, spanning industry, innovation, CSR, healthcare, science, and entrepreneurship.
Delivering the keynote address, Governor Shri Jishnu Dev Varma remarked, “Excellence is not an act or habit—it is a mindset and a way of thinking.” Applauding FTCCI's enduring contribution to Telangana’s industrial ecosystem, he said, “A thriving industry shapes a stronger economy and an empowered society. Telangana stands tall today as a progressive industrial state.”
Citing industry icons, the Governor urged the audience to dream big. “As Dhirubhai Ambani said—‘Think big, think fast, think ahead’. And as N.R. Narayana Murthy believes—performance leads to recognition, recognition to respect, and respect to power. But humility remains the greatest mantra for success.”
The Governor also felicitated members of the jury: Justice Challa Kodanda Ram, M. Gopal Krishna, IAS (Retd), Ajay Mishra, IAS (Retd), B.P. Acharya, IAS (Retd), and Prof. Uday B. Desai, Founding Director, IIT Hyderabad. Established in 1974, the FTCCI Excellence Awards promote innovation, quality, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth. Over the past five decades, the awards have become a hallmark of excellence in the region.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Suresh Kumar Singhal, President, FTCCI, said: “These awards reflect our commitment to recognising leaders who fuel Telangana’s economic engine.” Mr. Ramakanth Inani, Chair, Awards Committee & Past President, added: “These recognitions shine a light on transformative contributions by both organisations and individuals.” Mr. R. Ravi Kumar, Senior Vice President, FTCCI, emphasised the credibility of the awards and their ability to inspire industry-wide quality benchmarks.
