Director Srinivas Manne, who previously earned critical acclaim for the film Katha starring leading actress Genelia, has returned after a hiatus with his new project titled Eesha. This horror thriller is being brought to audiences by Bunny Vaas and Vamsi Nandipati, known for delivering cult hits like Little Hearts and Raju Weds Rambai. Eesha is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 12 under the banners of Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments and Bunny Vaas Works.

The film features Akhil Raj and Trigun in lead roles, with Hebah Patel playing the female lead. Siri Hanumanth, Babloo, and Prithviraj appear in key supporting roles. The movie is produced by Hem Venkateswara Rao under the banner of HVR Productions and is presented by noted producer K.L. Damodar Prasad.

Ahead of the film’s release, director Srinivas Manne spoke with journalists on Friday, sharing insights into the project. When asked about what sets Eesha apart from previous horror thrillers, Srinivas Manne explained that this film combines horror with deeper elements like life, death, divinity and the forces of creation which are all interwoven throughout the story.

He also stated that the film’s unit paid close attention to technical aspects such as makeup, costumes, lighting and sound design. Speaking about the film's frightening elements, he said that there are several shocking and frightening elements in the movie and advised those with weak hearts not to watch it. He recalled that the censor board found it very scary but appreciated its strong content and added that even children would like the movie.

When questioned about his confidence in the film’s success, Srinivas Manne said, “Horror has its own dedicated audience. We trust the approach taken by Bunny Vaas and Vamsi Nandipati to take this film forward.”
