EThames invites nominations for TeenOrator challenge

EThames Business School, Hyderabad, has invited nominations from schools across Telangana for the TeenOrator Challenge 2026, a statewide inter-school communication skills championship for students of Classes IX to XII. School nominations are open until July 28, while students must submit a one-minute learning video by August 2.

The AI-native business school said the initiative aims to identify and nurture young talent in public speaking, storytelling and debating while strengthening communication skills in the age of Artificial Intelligence.

Chairman Kali Prasad Gadiraju said that although AI can perform tasks such as writing and analysis, the ability to communicate ideas, collaborate and think independently would remain a key differentiator. Chief Transformation Officer V.V. Lakshminarayana (Retd.) said communication skills are essential for future leaders, while former ISB Dean Ajit Rangnekar highlighted communication, creativity and analytical thinking as among the fastest-growing workplace skills.

The championship will feature Oratoria (public speaking), Narrativa (storytelling) and Dialectica (debating) in English, Telugu and Hindi. The grand finale will be held on August 22 at the EThames campus in Raidurgam, Hyderabad.
