The All India Bahujan Samaj Party (AIBSP) has strongly condemned the alleged derogatory remarks made by MLA Rajagopal Reddy against SC MLA Mandula Samuel, describing the comments as an attack on the dignity of elected representatives from marginalized communities and the spirit of the Constitution. Former Director General of Police and National Co-ordinator of AIBSP Dr. J. Purnachandra Rao said the issue should not be viewed as a personal dispute between two legislators.

He alleged that publicly insulting an elected Scheduled Caste (SC) representative amounted to an affront to constitutional values and the self-respect of SC, ST, BC, and minority communities. Dr. Purnachandra Rao said the incident reflected the persistence of caste-based discrimination and dominance in politics despite 78 years of India's Independence. The former DGP also called on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to respond to the incident, stating that the Congress party should clarify whether it would tolerate such conduct within its ranks or uphold constitutional principles through appropriate disciplinary action.

BSP leaders also appealed to Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President Mahesh Kumar Goud to stand in support of social justice and urged the Congress leadership to initiate disciplinary proceedings against Rajagopal Reddy. Chanda Lingaiah Dora said the party should act decisively to demonstrate its commitment to equality. Sangem Surya Rao called upon Congress leaders belonging to the Reddy community to publicly condemn the remarks,. Another BSP leader, M.D. Yaqoob, urged all parties in Telangana to make it clear that there is no place for caste-based arrogance or the humiliation in the state's political discourse.
