FICCI unveils future-ready roadmap on AI innovations

Hyderabad: The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) hosted the 2nd Edition of its Conference, ‘Future Forward: Reimagining Education for an AI-Driven World,’ at The Park, Hyderabad. The event provided a platform for policymakers, educators, and industry leaders to discuss AI-powered innovations and future-ready education ecosystems.

Prof. Anil Sahasrabuddhe, Chairman, NETF and NAAC, emphasized curriculum relevance, critical thinking, and teacher upskilling as key to preparing employable graduates. Dr. Jayesh Ranjan, highlighted Telangana’s Vision 2047, focusing on personalized student pathways, AI-enabled guidance, and bridging the digital divide. Prof. V Balakista Reddy stressed aligning curricula with emerging technologies to support India’s global ambitions. T Muralidharan highlighted AI’s disruptive impact on jobs and the importance of applied learning.

The two-day event featured fireside chats, panels on skilling, employability, green economy, semiconductors, and workshops on design thinking, responsible AI, and innovation in teaching. The conference fostered international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and cross-sector partnerships to build a future-ready, inclusive, and technology-enabled education ecosystem in India.
