Bollywood superstar Salman Khan opened up on battling various health conditions but still choosing to continue working. He revealed that he has been diagnosed with conditions like trigeminal neuralgia, an aneurysm, AV malformation, and others, and that it was difficult for him to start things from scratch at this age.
During his appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show, Salman explained the importance of working hard in the film industry. “Hum ye jo daily ki haddiyan tudwa rahe hain, pasliyan toot gayi, trigeminal neuralgia ke sath kaam kar rahe hain, aneurysm hai brain mein uske bawajood kaam kar rahe hain. AV malformation hai, uske bawajood chal rahe hain,” he stated.
He went on to say, “All of this is going on in my life. Aur jahan unka mood satka, woh aadha humara leke chala gaya. Had this happened when I was younger, it would’ve been fine; I could’ve earned it all back. But now, starting over again...” Back in 2017 too, Salman had spoken up on being diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia, which is also known as the ‘suicide disease’, because of the excruciating pain it causes, forcing patients to end their lives.
Salman reveals his Tere Naam hairstyle was inspired by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam
Salman Khan left fans and audiences surprised with a revelation on the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3, streaming on Netflix. Salman opened up about one of the most talked-about aspects of his 2003 cult film Tere Naam - his long-haired look as Radhe Mohan.
In a moment that caught even host Kapil Sharma off guard, Salman disclosed that the iconic hairstyle wasn’t just a random style choice but was in fact inspired by former President of India, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. “Ye jo Tere Naam ka jo look hai, woh actually inspired tha Abdul Kalam saab se aur uss dauran I think Rahul Roy ka bhi same hairstyle tha. I thought ki jo small town hero hota hai na, unke humesha lambe baal hotey hai. The yesteryear heroes all had long hair, toh waha se ye aaya tha,” Salman said, drawing gasps and laughter from the audience.
