Several film stars, politicians and businessmen are a worried lot due to the ongoing road expansion near KBR Park. Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy, the maternal uncle of Tollywood actor Allu Arjun, has submitted a complaint to Prajavani. In his complaint, he has sought a reassessment of the land acquisition for his residence, which is necessary due to the ongoing road expansion near KBR Park in Hyderabad.
Chandrasekhar Reddy has requested clarification from the authorities regarding the acquisition of 20 feet of land on one side of his property and 30 feet on the other side for the road expansion. A few months prior, the State government made the decision to enhance the junctions surrounding KBR Park, with officials allocating a budget of Rs 1,100 crores for this initiative.
The government has commenced plans for the construction of seven steel bridges and seven underpasses in proximity to KBR Park, which will include key locations such as the KBR Park Entrance Junction, Maharaja Agrasen Junction, Cancer Hospital Junction, Film Nagar Junction, Jubilee Hills Check Post Junction, and Mugdha Junction.
There will be a seamless experience around KBR Park and its neighboring junctions, free from traffic congestion or U-turns. Nevertheless, town planning officials have designated the current 100-foot road surrounding KBR Park for expansion to 120 feet.
As part of this road widening initiative, portions of properties belonging to notable individuals—including film actor Balakrishna, senior Congress leader Jana Reddy, K. Chandrasekhara Reddy (uncle of Allu Arjun), as well as various prominent political figures and businessmen—are set to be acquired.
In connection with this matter, Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy, the uncle of Allu Arjun, has submitted a formal complaint to the Prajavani. He has requested that the relevant authorities reconsider the acquisition of land pertaining to his residence in the context of the road expansion at KBR Park.
