Flash mob spreads message of hope on breast cancer

Apollo Cancer Hospital, in collaboration with CURE Foundation, organized a Flash Mob at GVK One Mall in Banjara Hills on Friday at 6:30 pm. Themed ‘Check. Care. Conquer,’ the event highlighted the critical importance of early detection and timely intervention in the fight against breast cancer.

The energetic performance featured medical students, doctors, and nurses from Apollo Cancer Centre, whose synchronized dance moves captured the attention of shoppers and passersby, turning the mall into a hub of awareness and engagement. Popular film celebrities also joined the event, adding glamour and amplifying the campaign’s reach.

Guest of Honour Dr. Bharat Reddy and other prominent personalities praised the initiative, stressing that spreading awareness is the first step toward saving lives. 

Dr. P Vijay Anand Reddy, Founder of CURE Foundation and Director of Apollo Cancer Centres, Hyderabad, said, ‘Creative public engagement helps break the stigma around cancer and encourages women to undergo regular screenings. Early detection truly saves lives.’ Visitors received bookmarks outlining early signs, symptoms, and preventive tips.
