Smt and Sri Vanam Jwala Narasimha Rao on Friday presented the pre-release copy of their forthcoming book, Democracy and Governance through Lens and Blurred Glasses: A Journey into Distorted Visions of Modern-Day Politics, to His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, the 70th Peetadhipathi of the sacred Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, at Skanda Giri Sri Subramanya Swami Temple in Secunderabad.
The meeting, facilitated by Harkara Srinivasa Rao and Chintapalli Subrahmanya Sharma Ghanapati, was a spiritually enriching experience. Swamiji graciously received the book, appreciated its philosophical insights on democracy and governance, and blessed Narasimha Rao to continue his literary pursuits. He also acknowledged Justice V. Ramasubramanian’s positive appraisal of the work.
During their interaction, Swamiji encouraged Narasimha Rao to compile a comprehensive history of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, which he accepted with reverence. The occasion also witnessed a gesture of compassion by philanthropist Narendra Kumar Kamaraju and his wife, who distributed clothes and fruits to Pathasala students in Swamiji’s presence, adding a touch of social service to the spiritual event.
