Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills. The two leaders discussed the latest political developments and exchanged views on national and regional issues.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy briefed Akhilesh Yadav on the development and welfare programmes being implemented by the Telangana Government. Akhilesh Yadav appreciated the initiatives taken for inclusive growth across the State.
He especially lauded the Chief Minister’s decision to officially recognize Sadar as a State festival, noting that the Yadav community across the country would “always remember and cherish” Revanth Reddy’s gesture. He said the CM has earned a permanent place in the hearts of Yadavs for giving the community due recognition in Telangana’s political landscape.
The meeting was attended by Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav, former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, Ramagundam MLA Raj Thakur, and senior Congress leader Rohin Reddy.
Later, Akhilesh Yadav also met BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR). Former Minister and MLA Harish Rao and several BRS MLAs participated in the meeting. The leaders held discussions on current political issues and developments.
