Foundation stone laid for RUB-739 expansion at Macha Bolarum

Continuous efforts are being made at all levels to strengthen rail and road infrastructure in the twin cities. He underlined the importance of coordination among stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects that directly benefit the public 

Eatala Rajendar, Member of Parliament, Malkajgiri, laid the foundation stone for the provision of an additional vent at Road Under Bridge (RUB) No. 739, located between Alwal and Bolarum Bazar railway stations, on Tuesday, at Macha Bolarum. The programme was held in the presence of Marri Rajashekar Reddy, Member of Legislative Assembly, Malkajgiri.

Speaking on the occasion, Eatala Rajendar said continuous efforts are being made at all levels to strengthen rail and road infrastructure in the twin cities. He underlined the importance of coordination among stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects that directly benefit the public. The additional vent at RUB No. 739, he said, would significantly ease traffic congestion and allow seamless movement of road vehicles without detention.

The MP appreciated Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and South Central Railway authorities for their swift response and prompt action. He noted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Railways are executing infrastructure works such as Amrit station redevelopment and construction of road under bridges and over bridges at a rapid pace.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Marri Rajashekar Reddy said the project would greatly benefit local residents. He added that the Railways have targeted completion within six months and assured that the work would be carried out using available land without disturbing nearby houses or properties. He also mentioned ongoing efforts to construct a road underbridge at Vajpeyi Nagar. Earlier, DRM Shri Santosh Kumar Verma briefed the gathering on the project details, stating that the additional vent has been sanctioned at a cost of Rs. 7.7 crore and will improve traffic flow and enhance commuter safety.

Senior railway officials who attended the event included Santosh Kumar Verma, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division; A. Sridhar, Chief Public Relations Officer, South Central Railway; Udaynath Kotla, Deputy General Manager, SCR; and Dr. Anirudh Pamar, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Hyderabad Division, among others.
