Four accused were arrested by sleuths of the Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone Team, Hyderabad City, along with Bollarum police and seized 3.8kgs of ganja from them.

Arrested men were identified as Tamata Sanjay (24), resident of Marredpally (Main Peddler cum Financier). He was involved in 24 criminal cases previously. Tamata Shiva Singh (24), resident of Balaji Nagar (Transporter cum Peddler). He was previously involved in 12 criminal cases. Jwala Deepanshu Kumar (22), resident of Shanti Nagar Colony (Sub-Peddler) and Ravula Naresh (18), resident of Balaji Nagar. (Sub Peddler).

Police have seized a total ganja weighing about 3.8kgs and five cell phones all worth Rs 1,75,000 from accused persons.

The accused Jwala Deepanshu Kumar addicted to ganja consumption and selling. The main accused Sanjay and Jwala Deepanshu Kumar have hatched the plan to bring ganja from Araku, to sell at Hyderabad and gain easy money. As per their plan, they have sent Tamata Shiva and Ravula Naresh to bring ganja from Subba Rao, who is their regular supplier and sell the same to needy customers at Balaji Nagar, Yapral, Alwal, Bolarum and Tirumalgherry areas.
