Free medical camp at IIMC college

On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's death anniversary, a free medical camp was organized at Challa Som Raj Ram Assembly Hall in IIMC College, Lakdikapool, courtesy of Vasavi Hospital, Khairatabad. 

Inaugurating the camp under the auspices of the National Service Scheme (NSS) and NCC, College Principal & NSS Chairman Kura Raghuveer spoke about how today's children are ruining their health by eating junk food, developing eye problems from excessive smartphone use and facing dental decay issues at a young age. 

Vasavi Hospital Chairman Jayaprakash and Secretary Mallikarjun stated that students can study well and reach great heights only if their health is good. On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's death anniversary, everyone observed two minutes of silence until 11 a.m.

 Following that, under the leadership of Gynaecologist Dr. Ramya, General Physician Dr. Bhanupriya, Assistant Physician Dr. Karishma, Ophthalmologist Dr. Sunil, Nitin, ENT Dr. Geetanjali, Dental Dr. Srinivas, and Hospital Administrator Vijay, medical examinations were conducted for approximately 400 students and teachers. NSS Units 1 & 2 Program Officers E. Ramakrishna and M. Satyanarayana led the program, with 15 NSS volunteers from IIMC College participating.
