Following the good response to the released teaser, the team of the upcoming film FUNKY announced on Monday that the film will hit theatres on February 13th, timed with the Valentine’s weekend. The makers have officially proponed the release from its earlier planned April 2026 date. FUNKY movie’s director KV Anudeep returns to his trademark comic universe after earlier impressing the audience with  Jathi Ratnalu.

Vishwak Sen appears as a director within the film, sporting a new look. Kayadu Lohar, who plays the female lead role pairs up with Vishwak, instantly engaging a chemistry that stands out. The music director of the film is Bheems Ceciroleo, whose foot-tapping songs and powerful background score already hint at a catchy album. Editing is handled by the national award winning Navin Nooli. Produced by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, FUNKY is backed by the prestigious banners Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Studios.
