Hyderabad, January 26 , 2026: CINIC, an emerging AI-powered talent platform for the entertainment industry, successfully hosted the GenAI Micro Film Hackathon Venue at Annapurna Film School, Hyderabad, bringing together filmmakers and AI-native creators for an intense, creation-first innovation challenge.

The one-day hackathon witnessed over 60 shortlisted participants, selected from 250+ registrations, who were tasked with creating a 90-second micro film within just six hours, entirely using Artificial Intelligence tools. The event encouraging rapid creativity, collaboration, and experimentation.

Designed to explore the future of storytelling through AI, the hackathon focused on hands-on creation, empowering participants to ideate, script, visualize, edit, and finalize films using next-generation AI technologies. The competition was evaluated by a distinguished jury from the film and technology industry CV Rao (CTO, Annapurna Studios ) , Yogesh KMC (Renowned Film Director) , Havish Koneru ( Actor & Producer) , Bharadwaj ( AI Content Head, Chaishots) Their expertise ensured a fair and insightful evaluation of the innovative projects presented. Only three outstanding teams were declared winners. In addition to recognition, winners received Potential hiring opportunities with Chaishots as content creators.

The hackathon was organized by CINIC in collaboration with Light, Camera, Action Group (Part of Communitie Hyderabad) , Tambo Restaurant , This collective effort ensured a vibrant, supportive, and creative environment for all participants.
