Ghazal Srinivas honored with ‘Vishwa Sangeetha Shanthi Dootha’

World-renowned Ghazal singer and Triple Guinness World Records holder Dr. Ghazal Srinivas was honoured with the prestigious ‘Vishwa Sangeetha Shanthi Dootha’ (World Music Ambassador of Peace) Award by the President of the Republic of Mauritius, H.E. Dharambeer Gokhool. The felicitation was held at the premises of Sri Hari Hara Devasthanam, Mauritius, which is renowned for its magnificent 108-foot-tall statue of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy.

President Dharambeer Gokhool appreciated the outstanding contribution of Dr. Ghazal Srinivas, who has been spreading the messages of Sanatana Dharma, non-violence, peace and the principles of Satyagraha through music in various languages of the world. The President stated that Dr. Ghazal Srinivas’ musical and cultural initiatives were highly inspiring and appreciated Hari Hara Devasthanam for selecting him for this prestigious honour.The honour marked another significant recognition of Dr. Ghazal Srinivas’ longstanding efforts to use music as a powerful medium for peace, universal brotherhood, Indian culture and Sanatana Dharma across the world.
