NSS conducts free medical camp at IIMC

On the occasion of National Service Scheme (NSS) Day, a free medical camp was organized for students on Thursday in the Challa Som Raj Ram Conference Hall at IIMC College, Lakdikapool, under the auspices of NSS Unit 1 & 2 of the college, courtesy of Medicover Hospitals.I naugurating the medical camp, College Principal & NSS Chairman Koora Raghuveer said that the service rendered by the NSS students of the college with the mottos  

He stated that we can protect our own health by eating good food and following good habits, and that health is wealth.NSS Program Officer E. Ramakrishna said that only if students are healthy, they can study well and grow to a good position, and hence the college conducts free medical check-ups for students once every 6 months and provides suggestions by doctors.

Under the leadership of Medicover Hospitals Camp In-charge Vamsi, eye check-ups, dental check-ups, and pulmonary function tests were conducted for about 200 students, faculty and staff, and doctors provided appropriate suggestions and advice. NSS volunteers participated and underwent medical check-ups under the guidance of NSS Program Officers E. Ramakrishna and M. Satyanarayana.
