District Collector Borkhade Hemant Sahadev Rao stated on Monday that the government is implementing effectively the process of “compassionate appointments” so as to provide financial security to the families of those government employees who passed away while on duty. The Collector, along with Additional Collector(Local Bodies) Sampath Rao distributed appointment letters to five appointees of compassionate appointments.
They were posted as Junior Assistants at various Mandal Parishad offices in Mulugu district. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector made it clear that compassionate appointments would be made to those eligible in accordance with the rules.
He mentioned that with these appointments, the family members of the deceased would obtain financial stability as well as a confidence on their future. The Collector issued appointment orders to the following candidates: A. Venkatalakshmi as Junior Assistant in Venkatapur Mandal Parishad Office, P. Bhanu in Mulugu , D. Harish in Eturu Nagaram , P. Vamshi Krishna in Wazeedu and P. Sunitha in Tadwai.
